Direct Mailing Services
Lettershop, Addressing and Fulfillment - Getting your Direct Mailing out the Door
After your mail piece has been designed and printed, it needs to be addressed. This is a two step process. The first is to process your mailing list. After your list has been processed, the name and address of the person you are trying to reach is printed onto the mail piece.
List Processing
Making your mailing as cost-effective as possible begins with your list. It needs to meet postal regulations and you should always try to maximize your postal discounts by processing your mailing list through USPS certified postal software.
For example, instead of spending 41 cents to mail 500 postcards to your best customers, you can mail them at the standard rate for less than 25 cents each - that's a savings of $80 on your mailing!
Lettershop Services
This is the actual process of putting the name and address on the mail piece. It also means inserting a letter or coupons into an envelope. The lettershop process is putting all the pieces together and getting them to the Post Office.
